About Bolo

Who we are and what Bolo does.

Bolo is an independent practice tool that helps people rehearse the speaking part (Sprechen / mündliche Prüfung) of the telc Deutsch B1 exam. We pair learners with experienced practice partners over video and, soon, with an AI examiner for on-demand mock tests. Our goal is simple: help you walk into exam day having already practised out loud.

Bolo is an independent practice tool. We are not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by telc gGmbH or the Goethe-Institut. telc® is a trademark of telc gGmbH. Always verify current language requirements with BAMF or your local Ausländerbehörde.

What we offer

Live paired-exam rehearsals with experienced partners who have passed the telc B1 exam.
Spoken feedback after each session so you know what to work on.
AI-graded mock tests with per-criterion scoring — launching soon.

What we are not

We are not an exam centre, and we do not administer or issue official telc certificates. Practising with Bolo does not register you for an exam and does not guarantee a passing result — outcomes depend on your own preparation. To sit the real exam, book through an official telc test centre.
