Terms of Service

Last updated: 13 June 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of heybolo.de and the Bolo service. By creating an account or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms. The provider is the operator named in our Impressum.

1. What Bolo provides

Bolo is an independent practice tool for the telc Deutsch B1 speaking exam. It offers live paired-exam rehearsals with experienced partners and, where available, AI-graded mock tests. Bolo is a preparation aid only.

2. No affiliation and no guarantee of results

Bolo is not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by telc gGmbH or the Goethe-Institut, and is not an official exam centre. We do not administer exams or issue certificates. Using Bolo does not guarantee that you will pass any exam. Results depend on your own preparation, effort, and performance on the day.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to enter a contract in your country of residence.

4. Purchases, credits & pricing

  • The Practice Pack is a one-time purchase of €15 for three live sessions.
  • Session credits do not expire and stack with any further packs you buy.
  • Prices are shown including applicable taxes where required; VAT may apply.
  • Payments are handled by our payment provider; we never see your full card details.

5. Right of withdrawal & refunds

As a consumer in the EU you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital purchases. Where you ask us to begin a service immediately and it is fully performed, that right can lapse for the consumed portion. In practice, we will refund any unused session credits on request within 14 days of purchase. To request a refund, email hello@heybolo.de from your account email.

6. Acceptable use

Treat partners and staff with respect. Do not record, redistribute, or misuse session content, attempt to disrupt the service, or use Bolo for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms.

7. Liability

Bolo is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for exam outcomes. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under German law (including for intent or gross negligence, or injury to life, body or health).

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.

9. Contact

Questions about these Terms? Email hello@heybolo.de.
